Handheld vacuums are quite easy to operate and need lesser space for storage. The ability to fit into even the smallest spaces and corners makes them pretty much essential. There are tons of reliable handheld vacuums out there and now, we’ve got a new addition to the list, the Eufy HomeVac H30.

The new portable handheld vacuum from Eufy offers excellent suctional force, collects and disposes spread out debris within no time. The HomeVac H30 could be your newest addition to your HomeCare essentials if you wish. Here are our first impressions and thoughts on the new Eufy H30 Infinity combo.

Eufy HomeVac H30: Overview

The Eufy HomeVac H30 is Eufy’s newest addition to smart home care systems. Eufy offers the HomeVac in 3 variants, the H30 Venture, H30 Mate, and the H30 Infinity. Right now, we have the H30 Infinity, which comes with a few additional accessories than the Mate and Venture.

It flaunts an upgraded handheld design and comes with a powerful suction of 16 Kpa. The first impression that I got is that of its reliability. The hand vacuum is compact and mighty enough to clean and tidy pet hair, hard floors, and car interiors with ease. The H30 Infinity has a 250ml dust canister and offers two vacuum modes. The dust canister is a bit limited compared to its rivals.

The two vacuum modes, the Max and the Eco are useful in their own perspective. These modes can be toggled easily with just a push of a button. The Max mode is useful to clean kitchen surfaces, sofas, and even the creepiest nooks and corners of your home.

With a suctional power of 16Kpa, the Max mode stands but it is not the best in class compared with the rivals. The Eco mode for me was just good enough to suck out dust and dirt from my tabletops, keyboards, and car dashboard.

Moreover, 12Kpa doesn’t draw that much power but a considerable drop in suctional force was felt. Let’s find out more about the HomeVac H30 Infinity. Before that, check out the hardware specifications of the Eufy HomeVac H30 hand vacuum.

Design

The Eufy H30 Infinity is a great choice for quick and on-the-spot cleaning. It’s lightweight, compact, and can suck out the dust from every corner of your home. The H30 Infinity has a pretty much similar style that matches with its peers. But broader sidelines and better handling ability do give the H30 an upper hand.

The main vacuum unit is compact and weighs just under two lb (808g). You can choose from two color options, black and white, and both of them will be accompanied by a matte black charging base. The charging base is pretty much easy to store around anywhere, kitchen, bedroom, or anywhere.

The main unit houses only the essential buttons. There is the one-touch On or Off button. The mode switcher is just above the power button. Apart from that, there are no other buttons or displays of any sort.

The dust canister unit sits right at the bottom, aligned efficiently. The 250 ml dust canister is enough for quick cleaning, but yet, I felt it isn’t enough for regular vacuuming. A rubber ring encloses the filter unit. This helps in removing excess hair and dust that’s accumulated on the filter when you’re separating the dust canister unit.

The whole delivery of the vacuum offers quite a lot of essential accessories that make it easy for you to play with. The H30 handheld vacuum cleaner comes with a 2 in 1 crevice tool, a mini motorized pet brush, and a hard floor vacuum tool.

The 2 in 1 crevice tool has a small crevice nozzle and a dusting brush that’s useful to clean your tabletops, car dashboards, etc. The hand floor vacuum tool is an addition that you get only with the H30 Infinity. It allows you to effectively clean the floor like the way you do it with the traditional drum vacuums.

Vacuum Performance

The Eufy HomeVac H30 Infinity handheld vacuum is a strong player in the league and has some cool features up its sleeves. Upon a bit of initial use, I’m truly happy with what the H30 has to offer. The good suctional force with dual power modes makes it suitable for emergency quick cleanups.

The H30 Infinity comes with an additional Hardfloor mop apart from the accessories you get with the Mate and Venture. The hand vacuum flaunts Eufy’s new TriPower technology coupled with a powerful motor for clean and efficient operation. The dust filter and the 250ml dust canister see to it no debris of any sort is left undone.

The debris pickup is good and when coupled with the crevice tool, you can use it to clean your car seats, dashboards, and many more. The mini motorized tool works fine to clean pet hair. A quick dusting of your carpets can also be done with the motorized tool.

The hard floor tool, according to Eufy is the only thing that makes Infinity stand out from the other variants. But the hard floor tool lacks quality. There is a plastic mop accessory that comes attached to the hard floor tool, but as of now, it was no use for me.

Also, the tool is a bit small compared to the normal mop. This makes it less efficient to use it around your home for daily use. But yet, small spills and debris spread across a small area are no match for this handheld vacuum.

The Eudy HomeVac H30 offers 2 working modes, the Eco and the Max. The Eco Mode is the battery-efficient mode that offers a max suctional force of 12 Kpa. The Max working mode on the other hand is intensive that offers a suctional force of 16Kpa, useful to clean dust accumulation and accidental spills.

The Eco mode is battery efficient but felt like lacking power. The Max Mode on the other hand is decently powerful when it comes to suctional force, but would only last for around 10 mins. And yeah, there isn’t a sweet spot so, you’ll have to get along with these anyway.

Once switched on, both the Eco Mode and the Max Mode felt a bit noisy. A simple tap on the mode selector button lets you toggle between the modes.

Battery and Charging

The Eufy HomeVac H30 comes with a 2500 mAh internal battery. With this, Eufy claims to give you a battery backup of 20 mins on average, on the Eco mode. But as for some initial tests, What I observed was that the Eco mode stretched to around 16-18 mins before running out. On the other hand, the Max mode just maxed out in under 10 mins.

Coupling it with the mini motorized tool or the 2 in 1 Crevice tool helped the H30 add a minute or two worth of battery backup. Unlike some of its rivals, the H30 comes with a freestanding charging dock. Once docked, it takes around 3½ hours to charge up.

The thing worth mentioning here is that the batteries are replaceable. Hence, you can swap a dead battery and add a charged-up battery, provided you get one from Eufy in case you hate hectic recharging. Therefore, I do feel that Eufy has in a way tried to bring a balance to the inefficient battery provided with the H30 handheld vacuum.

Unlike most of the handheld vacs, the H30 Infinity doesn’t really rely on any wired connections. With the introduction of the battery charging base, the H30 has truly turned out to be wireless. And yeah, in case you’re running low while cleaning, Eufy has provided an additional AC adapter to plug it into your battery so that you don’t need to interrupt the cleaning process. I’d say that this was a smart move from Eufy.

Final Thoughts

The Eufy HomeVac H30 Infinity is a sturdy handheld vacuum unit with many accessories to couple up with. Although the hard floor mop tool is sluggish, the vacuum unit and its maneuverability are good. The vacuum cannot replace your drum vacuum cleaners, but this is a perfect vacuum for occasional cleaning, car interior cleaning, and more.

When it comes to the price tag, the Eufy HomeVac H30 falls under the pricey category among other hand vacuums. Still, you can get good results with all the accessories connected.
