This is happened to me several time. Whenever I tried to transfer something from my iPhone to Mac or other iPhone, the AirDrop won’t come up. And, sometimes, even the AirDrop icon will be missing from the Mac or iPad. In general, AirDrop should work on all supported Apple devices without any issues. Check AirDrop Settings on Receiving Device
